Concentrating on art created in the Philadelphia region or by local artists, the Woodmere Art Museum has a permanent collection of over 600 art works by artists such as Ron Linder, Edward Willis Redfield and George Krause. Special displays feature specific artists or styles, and the museum also runs a children's gallery, where art created by local children is displayed. Positioned about six miles north of downtown, the museum is near the Whitemarsh Valley Country Club.
