Philadelphia's oldest golf course is located at Cobb's Creek Golf Club, the 18-hole Olde Course which has retained its fame not only for its age but also its high ranking amongst municipal courses across the country. Established in 1916, the course's popularity led to the creation of the 18-hole Karakung Course in 1929. Both courses feature some challenging holes and a great game overall, though the Olde Course is the preferred of the two. Located near the Millbourne area of Philadelphia, the courses are set between Morris Park and Cobbs Creek Park.
