Mummers Museum is a quirky institution with exhibits from Philadelphia's Mummers, an eclectic group of people who dress in outrageous costumes and parade through the streets every New Year. Visitors can view the best Mummers outfits from the previous year, as well as footage from the group's annual String Band competition, and much more. It occupies a colorful, blue, green and orange-tiled building in the heart of the city, just east of Jefferson Square.
